We are a tallow skincare trading company co-founded by Dolton, who is blind, with a deep and personal commitment to the blind and low-vision community. We believe the experience of discovering a beautiful, small-batch soap should be available to everyone.

Braille on every order that needs it

Every Captain's Bar is Braille-labeled by hand by Dolton on his Perkins Brailler. Always. It is our signature piece, and it never leaves us without its label.

Any other product can be Brailled free of charge. Tick the Braille box in your cart, on the cart page or in the slide-out cart, and every item in your order will carry a Braille label, so you can identify each one by touch and know exactly what to reorder. If you have any trouble finding or using the box, email us and we will add Braille to your order ourselves.

We are proud partners of the American Council of the Blind (ACB), the National Federation of the Blind (NFB), and the Lions Club International, and we actively support accessibility initiatives through in-kind donations and community engagement.
